How To Wear Lace for AW12 (for a High-Budget)

Last Monday I showed you how to how to wear lace for a low-budget. However, today I’m going to show you how to wear lace for this coming season, for a high-budget.

This season lace gets a makeover – it has gone from pretty and demure, to tough and fierce. Wear your black lace with leather, heels and a pop of colour to show the fashion crowd you mean business!

So here’s how to wear lace for a high-budget:

Top – ALICE by Temperley – Lottie lace-appliquéd mesh top (£245).
Leggings – Gucci – Stretch-leather skinny pants (£1,320).
Heels – Jason Wu – Velvet and leather studded sandals (£870).
Clutch – Proenza Schouler – PS11 textured-leather wristlet clutch (£880).
Sunglasses – Ray-Ban – Wayfarer acetate sunglasses (£120).
All available from Net-a-porter.com.

This lace top looks great with these leather leggings – and rocks two trends in one; this season’s tough lace trend and the gothic trend. The heels add more toughness to the look, but more importantly keep the look looking glamorous. The PS11 clutch adds a much-needed pop of colour to the look, and the Ray-Ban’s add that last little cool touch. Sweep hair back into a high, glossy ponytail, keep makeup dark, and add a finishing slick of plum coloured nail polish!

Thank you to all my followers, and the people who look at my blog everyday, but sadly this is my last blog. Follow me on Polyvore at www.ewfashionblogger.wordpress.com !
