Best Swimsuits and Bikinis 2012 for a High-Budget

Last Monday I showed you the best swimsuits and bikinis of 2012 for a low-budget. However, today I’m going to show you the best swimsuits and bikinis for a high-budget.

Go Sporty

A big year for Britain in sports, so show some sport related style by the poolside this summer!

From left to right:
Bikini – Michael Kors – Color-block triangle bikini (Was £210, Now £84).
Bikini – JETS by Jessika Allen White Label – Ultimate laser-cut molded bikini (Was £265, Now £106).
Bikini – Agent Provocateur – Mazzy triangle bikini top (£110), bikini bottoms no longer available.

Leopard Print

Give leopard print a modern twist with a brightly coloured print, or just keep it classic with the traditional colour.

Left to right:
Bikini – Dolce & Gabbana – Leopard-print triangle bikini top (Was £115, Now £69), Leopard-print bikini briefs (Was £95, Now £57).

Nautical

Red, white, blue and stripes will all give you a fabulous French Riviera feel that’s so chic this season.

Bikini – TM by Tara Matthews – Bliss braided triangle bikini (Was £120, Now £48).

Blue Hues

Pale and pretty, rock a blue swimsuit on the beach this summer and show off your tan!

Printed Swimsuits

We Are Handsome and Lisa Marie Fernandez were both pioneers of this trend – yet both different in their style. Wear your printed swimsuit for instant style credentials!

Swimsuit – Lisa Marie Fernandez – +Peter Pilotto The Lisa Marie swimsuit (£355).
Swimsuit – We Are Handsome – The Carnival printed swimsuit (Was £205, Now £102.50).

Tribal Print

The tribal trend has been big this season, so why not try an Aztec print bikini, or a really colourful, crazy printed bikini. The bikinis below by Lisa Maire Fernandez isn’t strictly tribal print, but I think it’s a more modern variation on the trend!

Bikini – Mara Hoffman – Printed triangle bikini (Was £175, Now £87.50).
Bikini – Lisa Marie Fernandez – + Peter Pilotto The Lauren bikini (£315).
Bikini – Mara Hoffman – Techno Animal printed triangle bikini (£185).
Bikini – Emamó – Messico printed bandeau bikini (£180).

Exotic Prints

The title is a bit ambiguous, but to me it encompasses animal print, rich colour, fruits (see the tomato print bikini below), and gold. Anything that is bold and glamazon worthy!

Left to right:
Bikini – Charlie by Matthew Zink – Charlie metallic triangle bikini (Was £200, Now £120).
Bikini – Dolce & Gabbana – Tomato-print triangle bikini top (Was £140, Now £98), Tomato-print bikini briefs (Was £130, Now £91).

Bikini – Milly – Positano printed bikini briefs (Was £96, Now £57.60). Top no longer available.

Classic

A classic bikini or swimsuit is a staple in anyones wardrobe; opt for a classic black triangle bikini, or try another block colour such as dark pink or navy. A black cut-away swimsuit it a modern update on this trend, and a pale grey ruched swimsuit is guaranteed elegance wherever you go!

Left to right:
Bikini – Gucci – Bamboo-embellished triangle bikini (Was £290, Now £145).
Swimsuit – Clube Bossa – Ruched plunge-front halterneck swimsuit (Was £465, Now £232.50).
Bikini – Gucci – Triangle bikini (£175).
