How To Do: Tropical Fashion for a Low-Budget

Last Monday I showed you how to get the Tribal look for a high-budget, however today, I’m going to be showing you how to do Tropical Fashion for a low-budget.

It’s beginning to get warmer, and Hawaiian prints are appearing in many stores on the high-street (thanks to Stella McCartney), along with bright splashes of colour. Sunglasses and sandals are plentiful! So how do you pull all these things together into a summer tropics look, without looking as if you have bought everything in the gift-shop of your Hawaiian resort? Answer: team sleek, cool shapes with large Hawaiian prints, colourful sunglasses, and minimalistic sandals – and you are set for a sizzling, stylish, summer.

So here’s how to get the look:

Dress – Newlook – Black Floral Print Midi Dress (£14.99)
Clutch – Topshop – Hawaii iPad Clutch (£16)
Sandals – Topshop – HAWAII Chain Print Sandals (£25)
Sunglasses – Asos – ASOS Round Sunglasses With Pink Mirrored Lens (£9.50)
Nail Polish – Barry M – Block Orange (£2.99)

The dress is the perfect way to look sophisticated whilst rocking the tropical look. The sunglasses add a little bit more to your high-fashion credentials, and the printed clutch is a great reference to Stella McCartney  prints this season. The sandals tie the look together, but most importantly they will go with a lot of things this summer. Tie your hair up into a messy bun, and add an orange flash on nails and on your lips. A piña colada will finish the look of perfectly!!!
