How To Do: Tribal Fashion for a High-Budget

Last Monday I showed you how to get the tribal look for a low-budget. However, today I’m going to show you how to get the look for a high-budget.

Tribal fashion is all about bright busy prints, mixing and matching them – sometimes clashing – to get an ethnic, vibrant feel. Colour is a key part of this look, but so is texture and pattern. To nail the look, clash colourful ditsy prints, or wear bold printed trousers with a simple white or grey tee to maintain modern minimalism with a tribal edge.

So, here’s how to get the look for a high-budget:

Top – Giulietta – Crepe top (£330)
Trousers – Sandro – Paprika printed crepe tapered pants (£200)
Sandals – Burberry Prorsum – Beaded leather sandals (£325)
Clutch – Bottega Venetta – Watersnake-trimmed ceramic and glass knot clutch (£2,320)
Necklace – Aurélie Bidermann – Mendoza 18-karat gold-plated enameled necklace (£3,040)
Earrings – Isharya – Moon Bali 18-karat gold-plated hoop earrings (£305)
All available from Net-a-porter.com.

This outfit oozes indian summer cool – so keep hair natural, and add a bronze shimmer to your cheeks and eyelids. Finish off with an orange swish of lipstick.

So I couldn’t decide which outfit I liked better, and which one to put into this post… so I decided to use both!Bustier – Dolce & Gabbana – Chilli pepper-print cotton bustier (£535)
Skirt – Gucci – Fringed leather skirt (£1,710)
Heels – Giuseppe Zanotti – Suede peep-toe platform ankle boots (£535)
Clutch – Burberry Prorsum – Woven leather and cotton clutch (£795)
Bracelet – Eddie Borgo – Smile rose gold-plated cutout pyramid cuff (£345)
Necklace – Aurélie Bidermann – Ulysse gold-plated braided necklace (£850)
All available from Net-a-porter.com.

Bare, tanned legs will add to the summery feel of this outfit. Half plait hair into a messy ponytail, and add a shimmer of bronzer to your cheeks. A swish of black eyeliner will add to the drama, and finish off again with a slick of orange lippy.
