How To Do: Tribal Fashion for a Low-Budget

Last Monday I showed you how to print clash for a high-budget. However today I’m going to show you how to get the tribal look for a low-budget.

The tribal trend is big this season, slightly related to the print clashing trend, and a variation on last season’s Aztec trend. To nail the look, clash tribal prints and bright colours – or alternatively, coloured, printed trousers look great with white or grey tee shirts, loosely tucked in. Finish off with lots of tribal jewellery – fringes, beads, stones and gold!

So here’s how to get the look for a low-budget:

Top – Topshop – Tie Die Cami Top (£26)
Shorts – Topshop – Aztec Print Running Shorts (£12)
Heels – Topshop – LATINO Leather Mix Platforms (£78)
Clutch – Zara – Clutch Bag With Graduated Colour (£29.99)
Necklace – Zara – Bib Necklace with Ribbons and Fringing (£15.99)
2nd Necklace – Topshop – Regatta Multi Wrap Necklace (£18.50)
Earrings – Topshop – Triangle Drop Earrings (£8.50)

Wear this outfit with the two necklaces – piled on top of each other, and a wristful of cheap n’ cheerful friendship bracelets. Toenails and fingernails would look great painted in a sunny orange. Finish off the look with bright pops of make-up, and hair with a few coloured threads plaited in.

Check out my blog next Monday, where I will be showing you How To Do: Tribal Fashion for a High-Budget.
