How To Do: Fashion Colour Pop for a High-Budget

Last week I showed you how to get the Fashion Colour Pop look, for a low-budget. However today, I’m going to show you how to get the Fashion Colour Pop look for a high-budget.

Colour Pop is similar to colour blocking, but with one key difference; colour blocking involves a few slabs of block colour, contrasting against each other.  However Colour Pop only has one slab of electric colour, and this is contrasted against several neutral shades such as greys, or nudes. This highlights the one coloured item of clothing, and makes it ‘pop’.

So, here’s how you can get the look:

Sweater – Étoile Isabel Marant – Dory cotton-jersey sweatshirt (£165)
Skirt – Christopher Kane – Pleated stretch wool-crepe skirt (£590)
Heels – Miu Miu – Leather platform pumps (£400)
Clutch – Tory Burch – Robinson patent-leather envelope clutch (£290)
Sunglasses – Illesteva – Mademoiselle round-frame acetate sunglasses (£180)

Wear this colour-pop skirt with a grey marl jumper, and neutral accessories. Add a small, bright, flash with these electric bluey/purple sunglasses. This outfit will give an air of downtown cool, so slick hair back, and finish off with matching fuchsia nails.

Check out my blog next Monday, where I will be showing you How To Do: Sporty Chic for a Low-Budget.
