Get The 1950’s Vibe : Makeup & Hair!

Get The 1950’s Vibe : Makeup & Hair!

Last week I talked about how you can get the 1950’s Vibe. With two different ways to get the look, I ensured that you will look classy and elegant whatever you do.

This week I will tell you how to get the look with makeup and a beautiful hairdo.

Red lips, oomphy eyes, and a dewy skin will be certain to give you a dramatic effect. Here’s how:Foundation – Creme Puff – Maxfactor – Sweep across face and build up under cheekbones, but lightly on cheekbones and across forhead.

Eyeliner – Creamy Eye Pencil in Caviar- Bobbi Brown – Line entire eye, but smudge to give you a more seductive look. Dont make it too bold to avoid detracting from your outfit.

Eyeshadow – Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Black Star – Chanel – Sweep eyeliner across eyelid and build contour in eyelid crease, as well as near eyelash line.

Finish off with a volumising mascara.

Lipstick – Rouge Pur Coutre in Le Rouge – YSL – If you have a dark lip liner, line your lip to give a sharper finish, and shade centre and coners of lips to give a 3D effect. Finish off by applying  lipstick all over lip.

Nails – Dior Vernis in Red Royalty – Dior – Add more drama to your look by adding a beautiful red nail polish.

Now for hair; create a beautiful wave pin up with these videos:
